Processing Times
We want you to have a clear and thorough understanding of the timeline involved, so you can plan your travel with complete confidence and peace of mind.
Understanding the Timeline
The processing of your UK ETA application involves two distinct stages: our expert review and the official processing by the UK authorities. We've outlined both stages below in detail so you know exactly what to expect at every point in the journey.
We believe that transparency about timelines is essential. Unlike services that make vague promises, we want to give you a realistic, honest picture so you can plan accordingly. Our team will keep you informed at every stage through your secure portal and via email.
Stage-by-Stage Breakdown
Stage 1: Our Expert Review
Typically completed within 24 hours
Once you submit your application through our guided form, it is assigned to a qualified compliance consultant. They will carefully audit every field of your application — verifying your personal details, passport information, and travel data against the official requirements.
During this stage, our reviewer checks for the common pitfalls that lead to delays: misspelled names, transposed passport digits, expired documents, and incomplete fields. If they identify any potential oversight, they will contact you directly via email with clear, step-by-step guidance on how to resolve it.
Stage 2: Official Processing by UK Authorities
Usually within 3 working days
After our thorough review and submission, the UK authorities process your ETA application. The vast majority of applications are processed within three working days. During this period, the authorities conduct their own checks and make their decision.
You can monitor the progress of your application at any time through your secure portal. We'll also notify you via email as soon as we receive an update on your status.
Stage 3: Extended Processing (If Required)
Up to 10 working days in some cases
In certain circumstances, the UK authorities may require additional time to process an application. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including increased application volumes during peak travel seasons or if the authorities need to conduct additional verification.
If your application enters an extended processing period, there is no need to be alarmed. This does not necessarily indicate a problem with your application — it simply means the authorities are taking additional time. We will keep you informed of any updates through your secure portal and via email.
Planning Your Application Timeline
To ensure a smooth experience, we strongly recommend beginning your application well in advance of your intended travel dates. Here are our recommendations based on experience:
What Happens After Approval?
Once your ETA has been approved by the UK authorities, it is linked electronically to your passport. There is no physical document to print or carry — border officials can verify your ETA digitally when you present your passport at immigration. We will notify you via email as soon as your approval is confirmed, and you can also view the status in your secure portal.
We recommend saving your confirmation email for your records and making a note of your ETA reference number. If you have any questions after receiving your approval, our support team remains available to assist you.
